Michael Bushell

Michael is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 16 years of clinical experience. Formerly an NRL grade rugby league player, he turned this fitness to triathlon and now distance running.

After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1995, Michael worked in the public health system for 4 years both in Australia and the UK. Upon returning to Sydney in 1999 he entered into private physiotherapy practice and during the seasons of 2000 and 2001, he was physiotherapist for the Wests Tigers Rugby League Club. In 2002 Michale became an associate partner of a busy private practice in the Sutherland Shire.

In 2009, I took the opportunity to return to London and accepted an offer to work as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP). The ESP role was a highly sought after position specialising in the diagnosis and prognosis of clients’ musculoskeletal conditions.

During the latter half of 2010 and all of 2011, I successfully completed my Masters Degree in Manual Therapy where I received the prize for top student in the subject of ‘Rehabilitation Science’.
